Herb Wilborn, Jr., is an  International Recording Artist with two CD releases to his credit. Herb recently released his new single

"Early Morning Love" in April joining his previous recordings of "Appreciate the Moment" which debuted nationally in the spring of 2017,  as well as his first CD "Joyride."  A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Herb was dubbed “Cleveland’s Finest Jazz Flautist” by the Cleveland Plain Dealer and the Northeast Ohio Jazz Society, and was awarded “Best New Artist of any Category” at the Midwest Urban Music awards. In 2017 his nationally released single Breezin’ received international radio support and charted on the Groove Jazz Music Top 100.


During his career which spans over three decades, Herb has been honored to share the stage with contemporary jazz giants Najee, Grover Washington, Jr., Gerald Albright, Kim

Waters, Ramsey Lewis, Lin Rountree, Joe McBride, and Marcus Johnson among others. With his creative instincts and dynamic musical expression, complimented by a polished stage presence, Herb’s identity on flute is unmistakable, often described as funky, soulful and emotional. Herb’s talents can be summed up in the words of the Cleveland Plain Dealer; “Wilborn’s fine pure tone and all around abilities indicate he’s a well-trained musician, grounded in the improvisational arts as well as adept in the European classical flute tradition.
